Culture development

Continuing proven values

Why is it so difficult to change a company's culture? Why does the demand for culture change nevertheless recur so frequently – generally in connection with major change management projects?

  1. Because culture is associated with emotions and ensures a sense of belonging and meaning, and because time and emotional efforts are needed for the individual to internalise it.
  2. Because everything that happens in the company and everything that should happen, but doesn't, has its roots in the corporate culture.

The path-dependency resulting from culture (on the product, technology, market, customer, employee and communication levels) creates stability and security. At the same time, it is diametrically opposed to innovation. And yet it is possible for a culture to develop. For us, this means reflecting proven patterns with respect and continuing them on the relevant levels Seerosenmodel.
