What is CAPTain
CAPTain (Computer Aided Personnel Test Answers Inevitable) Online is a PC-supported personnel assessment procedure for the online description of work and social behaviour.
Information about the Procedure:
CAPTain Online was developed in the 1980s in Sweden and consists of two parts:
- Analysis of voluntary disclosures about behavioural preferences
- Self-assessment
CAPTain Online uses multiple choice and pair comparison procedures for data collection. Voluntary disclosures are evaluated according to work psychological criteria and summarized as an objective assessment. CAPTain Online assesses work and productivity styles in 38 features in dealing with:
- Technical issues
- Colleagues
- Customers
- Employees
CAPTain Online is technically validated and absolutely objective in its evaluation. There are versions of CAPTain for:
Management personnel
- Employees without managerial responsibilities
- Employees with consulting and sales duties
- College graduates/people newly entering the job market
CAPTain itself does not assess, but rather describes. Assessment criteria are entered by the user in the form of a job-specific requirements profile. We use CAPTain in the:
